Announcements play a crucial role in running any business. Because when you announce that’s when you get the response from your audience.
LetConvert now lets you create announcement alerts as well from within the dashboard. Create announcements and let your conversions roll.
You can now pass any update, information or news through the announcement alert over your website or page.
Creating an Announcement campaign is a very easy process in the LetConvert Dashboard.
This is how an announcement looks:
All you need to do is simply log into your LetConvert dashboard >> Create New Campaign >> 3 simple steps.
Now, to be able to create Announcement Alert, follow the steps listed below:
Step 1: Create Campaign
A. Enter name and enable the Settings.
Enter the campaign name, and enable Right to left language support & Callout translation if you wish to enable them.
B. Configure the Display Settings.
We highly recommend you to not add ‘http’, ‘https’, or ‘www’ in the prefix of the URL which you enter.
C. Configure the Capture Settings.
Select the Record Source or enter a URL if you wish to capture events from a separate URL after switching the toggle on.
Step2: Choose Alerts
Now, click on Announcements, a new form will open up.
You need to configure 3 sections under this Alert form:
A. Customise Alert
a. Choose the Alert Template. There are 3 types of templates available.
b. Select the Announcement.
Note: You can see a live preview of the alert on your bottom left corner.
B. General Settings
Note: We recommend keeping the default values set for optimal performance.
1. Choose whether you want to show the alert once or not.
You can also see the live preview of the alert at the left-hand side of the dashboard.
2. In case you have highlighted any text then, you can also change the Highlight Text Color & Highlight Background Color by simply clicking on the color on their right hand side.

3. You also have the option to change the Font and Alert Animation.

Note: You can also save the campaign as draft and can continue later.
Step 3: Configure the Settings
A. Choose the Alert Position & Alert Repeat Control.
You can choose the alert position- there are 4 position options and you can also configure the alert repeat conditions- there are 2 conditions, whether you want to show them again on refresh or after X hours/days/weeks.
B. Enter the Alert Display Frequency Conditions
You can enable the delay before the display of first alert, the display duration of each alert & the spacing between 2 alerts.
C. Mobile Settings
You can hide alerts on Mobile by simply switching the toggle off (set by default).
However, in case you want to show alert on mobile then, you need to configure the conditions whether you want to show it on top or bottom.
You can also optimize the alerts for mobile by simply switching the toggle on (set by default).
Note: You can also save the campaign as draft and can continue later.
Step 4: Save the Settings
Once you are done with all the above steps, don’t forget to save the campaign by clicking on ‘Save Settings’.
